Okay, so now that you are a little more comfortable with the game of Fortnite, why don’t I teach you some pro tips?

Pro Tips in Building

Building is the most important technique in Fortnite. This is because building can help you in so many different ways, so I put together some tips and formations that you can practice, so that you can improve your building skills.

Formation One

1. Port-a-forts are back in season 4 of Fortnite, and can be useful in so many different ways! When you are playing with other people, port-a-forts can be helpful. For example, when there are too many groups of squads or duos around you, just throw down your port-a-fort, and this will make an instant tower as your base! Then have your teammate(s) build turtle shells on all four sides of the port-a-fort tower. (A turtle shell is a one-by-one cubic box made of five walls.) As you go, tower up the turtle shells, until they reach the height of the port-a-fort. This will make an epic base for you and your teammates to shoot people from!

Pro Tip: When you are building, try doing it near a bush, so that when you need to jump off in the middle of a fight, you can land in a bush, as they protect you from fall damage.

Formation Two

2. Formation 2 is kind of hard to explain, and may sound a little complicated. But it is actually pretty easy once you practice more and more. This formation requires you to build a wall-stair-wall-stair combo in the direction of the person who is trying to shoot you. This will give you some protection. The opponent will most likely try to follow you, so you want to find a space between a wall and stair, then build two more walls on the open spaces on either side of you. Next, when the other player tries to break your wall, you need to be quick and build a wall in front of you before they do it. Then edit build the wall to make a window where your opponent is standing and use a pump or combat shotgun to headshot and finish them off.

• If they manage to break and build wall before you instead however, then you need to be very fast, as the first thing they probably will do is edit build the wall and headshot you with their pump. If you don’t want that to happen, then you need to quickly edit build out from the right or left side. Not the back, because the person can still shoot you from where they are. After you do that, the opponent is going to be confused, so take advantage, and finish them off.

Pro Tip: Stay hidden. Be confusing. Take advantage. Stay on high ground. Build. A lot.

Pro Tips to Snipering

So you probably sniper-shoot people who are more than 20m away right? Well here are some pro sniper tips for you:

Pro Tip: Sniper a centimeter or so above the person’s head while shooting, as it will curve downwards and do a headshot on them

Pro Tip: If a person is moving forward, sniper shoot in the direction they are moving towards the front. This will hit them when they reach that point
