The Heroes of Olympus, By Rick Riordan

the heroes of olympus

Summary

The Heroes of Olympus is an amazing series, sequel to Percy Jackson. In this series, the Prophecy of Seven guides the chosen demigods as they go on crazy quests and adventures. The Greek and Romans have to work together to defeat Gaea and her army of giants. Each giant can only be defeated by a demigod and god working together. But the gods are constantly changing their personalities, and most of the half-bloods just don’t get along. The world would be destroyed if they didn’t prevent Gaea from awakening; So they had no choice but to put aside their differences and work as a team. . .

Review

There is something about this series that makes it a magical experience while I am reading. It has just the right amount of drama, humor, suspense, and adventure.

The series introduced many new characters, but also kept the familiar ones, which didn’t make me feel overwhelmed. But some readers might not like that the first book because doesn’t include Percy, although he does appear throughout the books as one of the main characters.

Overall, this series is one of the best I have read on Greek Mythology. I will recommend this to anyone looking for an interesting book to read!
